The Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL), in collaboration with the FICCI Kerala State Council, is organising a programme titled "Unlocking Opportunities under the India-EU Free Trade Agreement” on 1 August 2026 at The Renai Cochin, Kerala. The programme seeks to facilitate a focused dialogue on the opportunities emerging from the India-EU Free Trade Agreement and their implications for Indian businesses, particularly the export-import community and service sector enterprises seeking to strengthen their engagement with the European market. The deliberations will cover key aspects of the Agreement, including market access, rules of origin, tariff concessions, EU regulatory requirements, sustainability standards and sector-specific opportunities. Senior government officials, trade experts and industry stakeholders are expected to share their perspectives on the evolving India-EU trade framework and its potential to strengthen bilateral trade and investment relations. The programme aims to provide participants with practical insights into navigating the regulatory and commercial dimensions of the Agreement and effectively leveraging the opportunities it presents.
