The Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL), in collaboration with industry and trade stakeholders, is organizing a conference on “Leveraging India’s Modern FTAs: Unlocking Export Opportunities in UK & European Markets” on 12 June 2026 at Hotel Radisson Blu, Ludhiana. The conference is being convened at a time when India is actively strengthening its trade and economic partnerships with key European economies through a new generation of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), creating significant opportunities for Indian businesses to expand their footprint in international markets. The programme aims to provide exporters, MSMEs, industry representatives, policymakers, trade professionals, and other stakeholders with a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities arising from India’s evolving trade architecture. Discussions will focus on market access prospects under India’s FTAs with the United Kingdom, the European Union, and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries, while also examining the practical considerations businesses must address to successfully enter and operate in these markets.
