WTO Public Forum

The Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL), in collaboration with the India WTO Chairs Programme, will serve as an Organising Partner at the WTO Public Forum 2026 in Geneva on 17 September 2026. CTIL will contribute to three sessions: Session 69, “Trading Culture: Sustainable Tourism and Creative Services” (09:00–10:00 AM, Room D), featuring Prof. Dr. Amrita Bahri (WTO Chair, Mexico), Prof. Fabio Costa Morosini (Federal University of Rio Grande – UFRGS, Brazil), Prof. Dr. James J. Nedumpara (Head, CTIL; WTO Chair, India), Prof. Victor Saco (Director, PUCP, Peru; WTO Chair, Peru), and Mr. Ridhish Rajvanshi (Senior Research Fellow, CTIL); Session 83, “Services Trade in the Digital Era: Global South Perspectives” (12:00–01:00 PM, WTO Library), featuring Ms. Shiny Pradeep (Assistant Professor, CTIL), Mr. Sumantha Chaudhuri (Principal Trade Advisor, CII), Prof. Dr. James J. Nedumpara (Head, CTIL; WTO Chair, India), Ms. Shailja Singh (Professor, Jindal Global Law School), and Mr. Quan Zhao (Trade Policy Advisor, International Trade Centre); and Session 102, “WTO Reform and Practical Action” (03:45–04:45 AM, Room D), featuring Mr. Ralph Ossa (University of Zurich), Mr. Rober Staiger (WTO), Ms. Inu Manak (PIIE), Mr. Mark Wu (Harvard University), Ms. Amrita Bahri (ITAM), and Mr. James Nedumpara (Head, CTIL). Through these engagements, CTIL will contribute to discussions on sustainable tourism and creative services, digital trade from Global South perspectives, and practical pathways for WTO reform.
