The Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL) convened a Trade Talk to mark the commencement of the India–EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) on 1 October 2025. This represents India’s first trade agreement with a European grouping and a significant development in our trade policy. The TEPA provides new opportunities for cooperation with the four members of the European Free Trade Association—Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. The Trade Talk featured a Special Address by Mr Pranav Kumar Vice-President International Trade Policy and Compliance at Reliance Industries Limited. The Session also witnessed insightful addresses from Dr. James Nedumpara and Ms. Sunanda Tewari.
