Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL) is organising an insightful webinar titled “Negotiating Free Trade Agreements scheduled for 12 August 2025 at 15:30-16:30 IST. The inaugural Webinar is being conducted under the South Asia International Economic Law Network TradeLab India Webinar Series. As part of CTIL Mission to provide clinical legal education in international economic law, this webinar will offer critical insights into the intricacies of Free Trade Agreement Negotiations. Drawing on the growing number of Free Trade Agreements being entered into by countries, particularly India, this webinar seeks to elucidate the process of bilateral negotiations within the context of Free Trade Agreements, involving governments, policymakers, and trade lawyers. The webinar shall feature TradeLab India Academic Supervisor, Prof. Sattwik Shekhar who has been part of India delegation to numerous FTA negotiations. This event is an initiative of SAIELN and TradeLab India to empower and educate legal scholars, trade practitioners, and students about the practical aspects of Trade Agreement Negotiations.
