Centre for Trade and Investment Law organised a special session on "Global Investment Policy Developments - Focus on AfCFTA Investment Protocol and Dispute Prevention." The distinguished speaker Ms. Priyanka Kher, Senior Private Sector Specialist, Investment Climate Unit, The World Bank Group, Washington, D.C. provided insights on the potential benefit of African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Agreement in terms of exports, investments, poverty reduction and FDI. During her session, Ms. Kher session highlighted the latest developments in global investment policy, with a particular focus on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Investment Protocol, its features, commitments and strategies for dispute prevention.
