Virender is an international IP lawyer and policy advisor who currently serves as a Consultant (Legal) at the Centre for Trade and Investment Law. In this role, he provides strategic guidance on bilateral trade negotiations and multilateral IP matters at the WTO, focusing particularly on the Council for TRIPS. He holds an LL.M. (IP Law) from Queen Mary University of London and a B.Sc.-LL.B. (IPR Hons.) from NLU Jodhpur. Before joining CTIL, he spent five years at National Law University Delhi, diving deep into research on domestic patent laws and India's TRIPS implementation. Passionate about exploring the deeper nuances of international and comparative IP law, his insights have been featured in leading publications like the Fordham Journal of International Law, South Centre, and the European Intellectual Property Review.
