Ms. Priyansha Hajela is presently working as a Consultant (Legal) at the Centre for Trade and Investment Law. At the Centre, she works on diverse issues pertaining to multilateral trade negotiations including the WTO Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies and WTO reform discussions, and bilateral negotiations with various trading partners. She is involved in providing legal and policy advice to the Government of India on diverse subjects such as competition policy, subsidies, state-owned enterprises and privatisation, export promotion councils, etc. Priyansha specialises in corporate governance and sustainability issues and her work intersects law, policy, and international trade. She leads the Internship Programme at the Centre. Priyansha is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). She is pursuing a Ph.D. in law from the National Law University, Delhi and holds a Master’s degree in Business and Corporate Laws from Symbiosis Law School, Pune where she received the Nani A. Palkhivala Memorial Trust Gold Medal for securing the highest CGPA in the LL.M. Programme (2018-19). She holds a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the ICSI and has qualified the UGC-NET in Law.
