Sakshi Singh is a Young Professional at the Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL). She holds
an LL.M. in International Law from the South Asian University, New Delhi (2025), where her
master’s dissertation titled “Free Trade Agreements and Digital Trade: A Comparative Analysis with
a Focus on India” explored the issues of moratorium on customs duties and data governance under
major FTAs. She completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from the Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu
University (2023) and is UGC-NET qualified. She has contributed a chapter to the book “WTO and
Digital Trade” (Bloomsbury India) and has previously interned with CTIL, various law firms,
advocates, Judicial Forums and research institutions, including the Indian Law Institute. She has also
participated in moot courts, including the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition. Her research
interests lie in international trade law and its intersection with other areas, such as intellectual
property rights and environmental law.
